We’ve all had those relationships whether they be just friend titles or something more where the person you once knew starts to evolve. Then there’s the time where you finally understand that things aren’t how they use to be and it’s time to move on. The concept is now in your head and taking the first step: finding someone new is the easy part. The hard part is developing a relationship with that person, because in the back of your mind/heart you want them to do the same things that you loved in your previous relationship as well as have the same quirks, but it doesn’t work like that. No matter how attractive your new person is or how great of a personality they exhibit you’ll always carry on the burden of wanting them to be exactly like the last person you were with (we’re talking about before they changed). So to me I hate starting anew relationship whether that be a friendship or something more serious because I’ll always compare them to you.
